By the way, the battery cable cramp was in very poor condition on both the negative and positive sides.

I will try to polish the internal wall later. The GND cable was sharply bent and already very loose with someone using cooking foil to make tighter fitting but still very loose.
I normally stock spare new one so if I have one, I'll replace it.

With OEM NSX-R steering boxx installation, you must remove the SRS cable reel but with this installation, it actually keeps it.

I was originally thinking about placing a small switch using the half moon opening at the lower steering cover after removing the cable reel to establish the cruise control SET feature but since the cable reel is going to stay there, I need to think something else.

Just align the turn signal canceller mechanism sitting around the steering column shaft and look for the indicator arrow within the small check window showing the 0deg turn of the cable reel.

Install the hub by passing the SRS cables and install the SRS warning light canceller cable and the jumper wires for the horn relay circuit. These small cables were included in the kit.

Reconnect the battery temporarily to check the horn and the SRS warning light disappears after a few seconds in P2.

The most time consuming part was to hide all these cables and connectors inside that small opening of the hub.
You don't want to bend the flex cable too sharp as it will get damaged and you need the perfect cable reel in case you want to go back to the OEM SRS wheel.

The quick release base installed.
Again, re-connect the battery and quick check of the horn by shorting the two centre terminals.
Checked SRS warning light again.

The quick release paddle kept spinning as the locking screw was removed in the past so gently held it in place for now until the wheel is installed and making final adjustment.

Normally, you will have silver colour safety pin at the top of the quick release body in order to prevent accidental release of the steering wheel.
On this one, it was already removed together with the spring by someone and the spring was taped to one of the clear bag. Will return these to the owner.

Someone already tried the brief installation then.
The horn button holder collar was also already installed on the quick release mechanism.

Nothing special.
Just checking the locking device.
It works but these days, the bad people will be using the wheel dolly and store the car inside the metal container so even with this lock and tracking devices on the car, not safe enough.
