Health Check, Cooling Sys, etc 01

Started to work on another NSX.
The service menu is to carry out the Health Check (no annual service included), Cooling system refresh including
the Koyo Radiator, drive shaft OH, aftermarket steering wheel installation, etc.

As I never carried out the mechanical service on this NSX (just A/C CCU service and Health Check several years ago....),
I'm prepared for another big challenge as I'm quite sure most of the bolts and nuts are seized.....

As soon as I started the engine, I was greeted by the metal rattling noise from under the engine bay.
It was from the CAT heat shield at both F & R bank.
Normally, if all of the fixing bolts and nuts were already dead, I would simply remove the shield but
as some of them were still securing the shield covers, decided to use metal tyrap for a temporary measure.

The owner is going to replace the OEM manifold and possibly the exh back box in the future so for now, this is enough.

I normally carry out the test driving first before making any changes but I didn't want to start driving the car with
such loud metal rattling because it will hide other noise issues so I placed the car on the lift and carried out some inspection first.

There is still other noises around the engine bay especially when the engine was started from cold so possibly they are from the
A/C idle pulley or the TB is scratching against the warped old spec TB mid covers.

I already knew both drive shafts were leaking the grease so nothing new....
Not looking forward to cleaning all these splashed sticky grease and it smells awful.....

My biggest concern is, by the looks of it, they were never removed in the past that I may have big time dealing with the spindle nut and removing the joint out of the hub.
Later, this became the reallity....

It's definitely leaking from the radiator. Not only from the right bottom side near the hose neck but also from the left side as well.

Originally, the owner decided not to replace the radiator but then he changed his mind and it was a very good decision.

In fact, as you can see at the right side window of this blog, I'm waiting for another delivery of Koyo radiator from US as
one owner is experiencing the leakage at the moment and slowly loosing the coolant.

As mentioned like 100 times on here, please remember that OEM radiator is a consumable parts.

Sooner or later, it will crack at the bottom plastic tank most likely near the coolant hose neck or start leaking from the crimped area.

With different expansion/contraction rate between aluminium fins and the upper/lower plastic tanks plus the thermal shock, the radiator is going through one of the most severe environment while driving and even after you parked the car.

FR brake caliper is showing small drag against the disc. Looked like not overhauled in the past.
Highest priority please.

Damage at the left side A/C condenser fan shroud inside the wheel arch. Probably some of the clips came off while driving and simply scratched against the tyre.
