Annual Service, Health Check, Brake OH 22

While preparing for the rear pillar weatherstrip installation, the more I look at it, the more I feel sad about the state of the front weatherstrip and the surrounding area.
Extra sealant was applied for some reason and the A-pillar retainer was not installed properly that the gap between the L & R was different.

Also, the L side pillar was somewhat sitting on top of the weatherstrip that it won't create smooth line even after the roof panel alignment was adjusted.

As I don't have the parts, something for the owner to consider in the future.

The old sealant must be cleaned before the installation.
From what I saw, it looked like the previous service was carried out without cleaning these that some moisture managed to went behind
the trim and made the bracket hidden behind the trim around the door opening rusty.

Cleaned to this level.

Same story.
Half of the roof section cleaned by removing the old sticky butyl tape.

After spending hours, ready for the installation.
Preparation is the key for any successful projects.....

After applying the new sealant, installed the new weatherstrip.

Simply, beautiful.

As I don't want to disturb the sealant, I'm going to leave it like this overnight and then will start the roof panel alignment.

Booked the alignment service so hope to return this NSX over the weekend.
Next NSX will be here at similar time and hope to finish the service within the estimated time frame to minimise the delay
although it's another NSX that I never worked in the past......

Not only the headge trimming, I want to have my hair cut.....
