Not sure why Honda left two holes under the NSX-T roof tray/engine cover but these will cause fogging up of the rear hatch glass if not sealed.
In fact, at the edge of the cover, there are two square protrude that looked to be sealing these holes but not sure how effective they are.

The new tray/cover molding installed. I already installed the front one at the beginning of the service.
So much more spongy that now I can't close the rear hatch glass.....

Lowered the adjuster height but still needs lots of effort in closing it.

As I had to reset the ECU as well as rinse off the remains of coolant, splashed soft water on the gbox area and kept the engine running while letting the ECU to learn all coefficient parameters.
There are no fogging up during this duration so replacing these two rubber seals really makes tight seal.
I just need to find the best balance between the good seal and the closing force for the glass.

As a side note, while I was adjusting the adjuster/bush height, I felt that the rear hatch glass was removed or adjusted in the past.
Because of this, it was not easy to adjust the height of the tray/cover as I need to change the height between R & L sides.
Will look into this later if I have enough time because if I touch it, I may end up spending hours due to my obsession for the perfect alignment......

As reported earlier, I didn't like the edge of wiper blade hitting the lower trim of the windshield so moved it upwards a bit.

As reported earlier, I was not happy with the alignment of the targa roof.

After start removing the rear pillar weatherstrip, the more I look at it, the more I'm convinced that I must spend lots of time adjusting the alignment.
On top of this, as always, it takes ages cleaning all these sticky old sealant......

I have to adjust the roof alignment any way when replacing any of the weatherstrip around the targa roof but I was hoping that I don't need to spend much time at the front side as I'm not going to replace anything there.
However, it looks like the front pillar weatherstrip was replaced or partially removed in the past and I'm afraid it was not done properly.
Also, last time when the rear pillar weatherstrip was replaced, it looked like the roof alignment process was never done so came to a conclusion that I must spend some time this time.

This means the removal of sun visor, front ceiling trim, etc and then looseing all of the locking and latch mechanism with the roof locked in place.

I don't want to touch the weatherstrip for at least 24Hrs after applying the sealant so it looks like I won't be able to take the car to the alignment place until I'm done with the roof area service.... Further delay..... I want to trim the headge of my side garden this afternoon........

Challenge continues.....
