Nothing new or special here.

Just remove the old coolant hoses and replace them with the new ones.

Even for this low mileage, fairly late model NSX, the corrosion at the cooing sys pipes already started so
it was a very good decision to carry out the cooling sys refresh this time.

Saves the time and cost for the owner.

Interesting to see this level of rust on the VTEC Spool valve and solenoid.

It's hard to see in this photo but bit concerned about the clearance between the eng head and the secondary air pipe at the rear bank.
It didn't look like it was touching each other but when it gets hot, it could scratch each other and cause puncture.

Didn't want to touch it without taking the engine out as I already saw someone in US cracking this pipe.
Best to deal with it at the next TB/WP service, ideally, the owner will consider my Eng Refresh service.....

Not sure how the clearance got so close.
Possibly when the engine was tilted during the standard TB service???

New design thermostat installed.

The area behind the TH body cleaned to this level.

Before/after cleaning the TH body. This is the back side that you can't clean without removing the TH body.

All sticky gunk removed from the edge of the butterfly and also the TH body itself. The wall was simply charcoal black.
Now, it's back to silver.
INJ air port also cleaned.

So much better now.

Pretty much everything done at the engine bay.
Moving onto the centre floor section and front compartment before firing up the engine.

Aiming to return this NSX mid next week.
