EPS Controller Service 02

Rate this Entry

Following from the previous blog EPS Controller Service 01, started drilling the holes into the circuit board.
Very delicate process and takes long time......

As it is not going to be a copper plated through hole, I need to make good connection so stripped off the board coating and then applied soldering coating to create pad around the extra terminals for the high current capacity spec relay.

Another time consuming tasks and requires delicate touch.

My eyes.......

The standard broken relay on the left and the new high current capacity spec on the right.

Both relays are now installed.

Just need to clean the board, quick coating and carry out final testing but as I don't have EPS on my NSX, it will be basic bench testing only but I may consider extra testing this time as it's not that popular to see #22 error code on later spec controller.

Almost done.

Thank you for using my service and hope you will enjoy your EPS again.

Regards,
Kaz
