Started to work on another NSX.

The service menu is similar to the last one that I just returned to the owner.
Annual service customised with Health Check, Brake overhaul, Alignment, replacing NSX-T expensive weatherstrip, etc.

Started with the preparation for the test driving session.

First thing I noticed was the age of the tyre.
Although the owner just mounted these tyres recently, they were already about 10years old....
Can't judge the condition of a tyre by just its age but still, not ideal at all.
Later, my concern became the reality during the test driving session using the OEM tyre pressure.
Probably too high for already hardened rubber compound.

The rear brake pad was fairly worn on the outer side which means, the inner one would be even further worn.

CL pedal free play felt as if it's being changed. There was clear sign of someone accessed the area as some sort of extra grease was applied around the pivot pin.
The pedal mechanical play/rattle was about 5mm which was normal but then there was very little pushrod free play before the hyd line pressure started building up.
If it is adjusted too far, CL Hyd sys won't be able to cope with the temperature change of the system resulting in occasional CL slip.

The amount of pushrod free play didn't change under hot and cold conditions so looked to be fine at this stage but something to be monitored.

The coolant level was at or just below the MIN level. The header tank was so old that I couldn't even see the coolant level without removing the cap.

As I noticed white markings under the header tank, pulled out the overflow tube and confirmed that the air bleeding was not done properly in the past.
Later, when I placed the car on the lift, I found that it overflowed quite a lot as the white markings were everywhere.
When this happens, the coolant will also land on top of the starter motor and quite often, it will chew into the internal housing of the motor.
Already showing some rust around the bottom side of the starter body.

Topped it up for the test driving session and bled the air as the owner also commented that he couldn't get good temperature control on the heater.
Will look into this further as I may need to drain the coolant a bit in order to wash the TH body.

EPS rack making clicking noise when turned without the engine running.
Will check this further later.

The owner mentioned that there was a small dent at the front right wheel. Initially, we couldn't find it when the owner brought the car to my place but now I found it.
There was no obvious scratch marking so not sure how it was done but adjusted the tyre pressure and will see whether it is causing slow puncture or not.
