Couldn't work on this NSX at all on Saturday as it took all day working on the garden (this year, everything grow so fast....) and also once again, I spent too much time cleaning the inside of the caliper.

I just don't like rust sitting at the groove of the dust seal....

So, I had to contact the owner to change the return schedule.
Hope I can return this NSX to the owner on Thursday as I already have another one sitting in my garage doing nothing with just battery conditioner connected....

I'll never be able to start a business or even make any money if I keep spending too much time on just cleaning the parts.....

The rear pistons...

The RR side was beyond the acceptable level and already pitted.
The RL one was just about OK but the rust already got inside the groove and about to chew into the piston wall.
Instead of spending time doing something, it's cheaper to replace it.

New front pistons. This is how they should look like and not like these....

At the end, all six pistons on this NSX had to be replaced.

After cleaning and treating the internal caliper, installed the new pistons.
As always, check the smooth operation of the piston.

There are many know-hows involved in the shape, material, etc on the spec of caliper seals so while you can buy very cheap aftermarket ones, I prefer using the OEM one even with the extra cost as it will change the pedal touch after repeated operation.

Front brake pad and disc looked to be from Dixcel so it has gold colour pad matching the later spec gold caliper.
Eventually, it will be covered by the brake dust and turns into black though.....

Didn't like the corrosion on the front banjo bolt so replaced them. Rear ones felt fine but may replace them.
As always, new
bleeder plug at all four corners.
