Addition to the A/C CCU board, three Bose AMPs, the owner brought the OEM Alpine head unit.

The owner was not experiencing any issues and just preventative measure but also he wanted to prepare it for the possible future installation of the iPod adaptor such as the USA Spec PA11-HON.




Quick bench check before opening the unit.
The signal output from some of the channels were bit low but no noise.




The volume control module was already loose and rattling. I'll re-apply the Locktite and tighten it later.




The very early spec circuit board with big diameter caps.
No extra re-work or modification at the back of the bottom board.




The caps on the power I/F circuit will be replaced as well.





Although there was no issues reported, the owner made good decision to have it serviced now.
Already severe leakage from many caps and just about to cut through the tracks.
