In the middle of working on another NSX at the moment but will release the
blog later. Hope the owner has email access at the moment as I need some info
on his battery, washer nozzle, wiper, etc.





Back to the Bose AMP service.

The track at the jumper through holes were completely dissolved so
had to use two hard wires to re-create the missing joints.




As suspected, the acid leakage took out two FETs at Q3 & Q4.
Had to be replaced with new ones.




All caps and two out of four FETs replaced and in the process of
initial bench testing.

Measured the voltage at each pins at IC U1 and U2.
All came out fine including the AMP gain so happy with the result.

Will apply hot melting glue, thermal compound and conformal coating before
carrying out the final testing.


Moving onto the Front AMP.
From what I saw, it’s worse than the rear one but I hope I can recover it.
