The components.....

It shows the age of the unit.
The rubber cassette tape roller guide was already bubbling up.
The head was also dirty.
No wonder why the cassette tape sounded bit wobbly.






It’s the old design circuit spec so the track pattern is different from the
last one I serviced.
It also had the two jumper wires with pattern cut nearby.




The last minutes modification at the Alpine factory.
Nothing new to me.




Not easy to adjust the white balance but wanted to show the
build up of black dust around the flex circuit.
It always shows up around the ACC and BATT lines.



Although I have all the caps, I need to wait for the delivery of
new On/Off push button before I can return this unit to the owner so
going to slowly work on this at this stage.
