The black oil contaminated the VTEC Spool valves as well.
Took some time cleaning the inside but now they are both back in place
with new filters and bolts.




The oil was also leaking from the base of the oil press sender unit.
Cleaned it and re-installed with a new o-ring.
I always think the thickness of this o-ring is not ideal.
It would be better if Honda used bit thicker one.




As reported earlier, someone really struggled to install the
TB rear mid cover. So many scratches.

Also, it was the old spec with little recess against the cam pulley so
replaced it with later spec new one.
Of course, new gaskets installed.




And on the engine.






Time for the 4Hr marathon valve clearance adjustment.
1st and 2nd rounds done on both the F & R banks.

They are already well within the spec but I prefer to aim for the strict balance so
final 3rd round to follow later.



Almost ready to close the engine.
