TH body and butterfly are now very clean.
I thought about removing the idle air adj screw and replace it with
a new one but after spraying it with the carb cleaner, it looked so much
better. For now, I’m going to keep it.
I have several new ones any way so can be replaced later, if required.

New Thermostat in place.

Initially, replacing the small coolant hoses on the engine was not
included in the service menu but after looking at the state of them,
there was no way I can return the engine with these coolant hoses
in that condition so replaced all of them with the new ones.

Once again, the build quality of some of the replacement parts were not great.
For the coolant hoses, the mid size one near the thermostat was bit too long and
also the end finish was not great. Not a problem for using it but would be nice to
have the same standard on the build quality as we are paying for it.

Some of the old small coolant hoses were already leaking and also
so fattened that I couldn’t even slide off the hose cramp.

After cleaning the EGR valve, it was back in place with new gaskets and bolts.
