After leaving the head bolts over night, carried out the final torque check and
as expected, a few of them moved just a few deg.






While installing both heads, I was in the middle of cleaning the rocker arms and
it took ages especially for the ones at the front bank.
Simply they were covered in charcoal black.




Had to disassemble them, soaked in the cleaning solution and because of this,
had to use extra paste that stinks.
Still some black residue left but can’t do much any further so
I’ll leave the rest to the hot eng oil.








The valve cover and centre one were covered in oil and looked very tired.
So, while the weather was good and warm, dash of spray paint was applied.
Looks much better now.
