After confirming that there was no short circuit between the GND and IG/BATT pins, connected this CCU board to my Display module and powered it up on my NSX.

In the process of Function and Operation check as well as carried out the Self Diag test.

Note the special display.

This is the initial page of the Function and Operation check.

Confirmed each air outlet mode by hand and also looked at the movement of the water valve control under the bonnet as well as felt the changes in air temperature by hand.

A/C On and Off were confirmed by the clutch switch and the blower speed was checked from MIN to MAX.

It passed all of the Functon and Operation check and Self Diag didn’t register any errors so I’m happy with the board.

Applied conformal coating on both side.

Tomorrow, I’ll carry out about 70miles test driving session using this board inside my CCU to apply vibration as well as testing all sorts of different scenarios before releasing the board for delivery.

I decided to remove the centre console completely out of the way as I wanted to clean the internal surface of my audio head unit display.

I better put everything back in place for tomorrow.

As I’ll be working on another NSX this Saturday while the owner is waiting, I won’t be able to send this CCU board out until Monday.

Also, I need to write the CCU Service Report for the owner so still lots of things to do....

Hope I won’t find anything wrong during the test driving session tomorrow.

Regards,
Kaz

Fantastic job Kaz. Must be very rewarding to get something in that state back to full working order.

Thank you for the nice comment, NSXGB.

Yes, it's very satisfying to be able to recover the functionalities on this level of damaged CCU board.

Just sent it back to the owner so hope he/she can refresh the A/C system in time for the Summer.

    Regards,
    Kaz
