Kept the oil heater on again before carrying out the
valve clearance adjustment in order to keep the garage environment
at stable condition.

As it’s getting close to placing the engine back in the bay,
filled the MTF at this stage.

The feeler gauge.

As always, I use the one from the company that only makes
the gauge and nothing else.
Same for the torque wrench that I use where I need super high accuracy
such as the block and cyl head build.
I use the manual dial gauge one from the company that only makes
the torque wrench and nothing else.

As I don’t want to be interrupted during the valve clearance adjustment,
no other photos and just the end result.

After hours of marathon session, the front and rear bank valve adjustments
were done and checked twice.

Addition to the larger than expected deviation on the compression check result
for such low mileage NSX, I can also confirm that the clearance adjusters were
touched by someone in the past because many adjuster bolt heads showed
sign of tiny damages by trying to rotate it without loosening the locking nut enough.

I’m bit tired and didn’t want to compromise so
I’ll carry out the third round check tomorrow.

Already, all of the adjusters are well within the spec but just want to do
the minute delicate final adjustment.

There were plenty of oil film left around the cam and rocker arms but
will spray some oil before closing the engine.

Finally, I can start thinking about placing the engine back in the bay.

Getting there.....
