Today at Atelier Kaz - ex-Honda R&D, F1, Indy/CART engineer

Spent extra hours cleaning the engine due to red sealant all over the place
and black blowby mist.






Considering the weather forecast, applied extra fresh oil mist everywhere including
behind the rocker arms, valve, LMA, etc and that’s why these photos look shiny.




Inspected all four cam shafts and the cam holders.
As expected, the coating was still in good condition with several
extra wear markings on many cam holders but nothing serious.








Interesting marking on all of the cam shafts.
I had to use different camera in order to use better Macro mode.

It’s not just sitting on the surface like the assembly paste and
it’s baked into the surface.
The pattern is so precise so more like machining marking.
Just a fact report and nothing alarming.


Time to start the reassembly process.
I wish I have dry dust free room like engineering company
when cold night or rain is forecasted.
