Today at Atelier Kaz - ex-Honda R&D, F1, Indy/CART engineer

Started washing the engine.
Front bank looked very clean but still, there was some oil seepage
around the valve cover gasket at the intake side and at the usual place
such as the cam shaft disc seal.

As reported earlier, rear bank showed lots and lots of water marking
on the valve cover.
You just need to spend extra time scrubbing it.

As always, the coating on the red valve cover doesn’t have the same level of
adhesion as the black one so it always strips off quite easily.
There are several red valve cover owners with 1/3 of red coating already
cracking/stripping near the rear exhaust manifold.
