The windshield upper seal/molding was not installed properly and
showing noticeable gap especially at the right side.
Left side was just about OK but once the weather gets warmer,
I think it will show small gap.

The aftermarket exh design is not allowing the spring loaded bolt to be
tightened to the spec unless fully compressing the spring that results in
no point in using the swivel joint.

Someone dropped the spring inside the bracket.
Will try to remove it later possibly when the engine is out of the bay.

Several rubbing markings inside the wheel arch.
When the steering wheel is fully locked to one direction, the left side tyre will
make some noise by rubbing against the inner trim.

Bit of wind noise from upper rear corner of the driver side door glass.

Rattling noise from the ceiling area and also left side of cabin console.

Despite the heavy rust on the drive shaft joint case, the trigger teeth for the
wheel speed sensor was very clean and shiny at both sides.
Very good.

Just need to wash the car and start wrapping it but the weather is
not on my side.

One thing you really don’t want to do is to wash the car and then
park it inside the garage without driving it even for a short distance.

You can dry the cyl head cover area by running the engine for a while
after washing the car but all the moisture on the suspension, lower body,
gap between the panels, floor, radiator, etc are going to stay there
for a long time.

This is not good for the engine, oil cooler, aluminium parts, etc.
One of the reason why I use garden blower to blow dry after washing
the car before carrying out short distance driving session.

The moisture will get inside the engine through the exh valve,
oil cooler will get corroded faster, oxidation on the parts, etc, etc, etc.....

I know lots of people wash the car, start the engine and warm it up for a while
and then put the car back in the garage thinking that they have done very good
thing by keeping their car beautiful.

Wrong....

Even just a 10min journey would be far better than storing the car
without driving it after washing the car.

I just want the road surface to be dry enough after washing the car
because if I drive on the wet surface, the car will get dirty again and
most importantly, it won’t dry the moisture out from the car parts.

Hope to start removing the parts very soon.

Some intersting info there Kaz re wash technique. When I do wash the car I do try to take it for a quick run, but as the car (esp in yellow) gets dirty so quickly you HATE taking it out again so quick after washing
But after reading this, will be sure to follow your guidance from now on and the after run is NOW a must
