Everything back in place, pressure bled the brake system,
staked the spindle nut and kept the car on the lift in 1st gear with the
engine running to carry out initial run-in of the new and refurbished
drive shafts.

While waiting, replaced the broken clips at the rear upper trim with
the new OEM ones.
This time, I used the tripod style and not the half moon ones.

Someone already worked on the front lip spoiler in the past.
Big washers were used at the several fixing points.

As I was worried about melting the plastic material, decided not to use the
Acetone-ATF mixture and just used plain WD40.
It didn’t help at all because even after soaking them for two days,
all 13 bolts and spring nuts were completely seized and not easy to remove.

Lots of uneven pad material left on all four discs.

Considering the bad weather forecast, decided to carry out the multiple
test driving sessions followed by washing the car and leave the spoiler for
the last item to be done.

As expected, when the car started moving, I noticed some noise from all four discs.
It got better after lots of braking but with the condition of the tyre, new drive shaft,
etc, I couldn’t apply hard braking so hope the owner can drive longer distance on
the way back to his place.

The video of the noise from one disc.

Carried out multiple gentle test driving session for the drive shaft
due to left side being new aftermarket one with no previous experience and
the right one refurbished with new grease but wear markings.

Short shifting only and no VTEC or hard acceleration/deceleration yet so
just a general check.

No warning lights or strange noise.

Checked the idle rpm with SCS terminal shorted and had to open the
idle adjust screw 90deg compared to the original position.
In fact, as there was factory paint lock still there, looked like it was never
touched before.
Checked the IG timing and it was within the spec.

The coolant level didn’t change after it cooled down so no need to
adjust further.

So far, so good.

Kaz, on the first picture I notices cat converter triangle mounting plate is almost touching U shape brace. I see this is with aftermarket headers. Recently when I was changing oil I noticed heat shield on this cat started to "eat" my U shape brace. I had to remove it for now. Waiting on new rubber hangers (I suspected they sagged much over the years and heavy oem muffler doesn't help either) but may have to trim bottom shield to get more clearance.
