Eng Refresh 23

Rate this Entry

Waited long enough so time to pour the eng oil.
New filter filled with Mobil 1.

Just putting everything back in place.

Some owners made simple metal bar for routing the cable of the rear O2 sensor
but for this NSX, I just used the OEM bracket.
It won’t interfere with the installation of IG coil and far better than just
allowing the cable to vibrate with the risk of touching the hot header
or scratching against the body panel.

I don’t feel comfortable re-using these heavily corroded bolts for the
MT shift cable cover.
Will replace all of them with the new one.

Same story for some of the self locking nut at the CAT.
Replaced with the new one.

Re-routed the extension cable for the front O2 sensor
as well as the sensor cable itself using the
high temperature spec tyrap.

Will be working on the drive shafts later so not going to put everything back
in place yet but pretty much lower side of the engine bay is ready for the fire up.

Upper side is also ready.

Just need to replace the old tired OEM radiator with the all aluminium Koyo one
before the fire up.
Should be able to start cranking the engine over the weekend.
