It is very unlikely that the engine will be out of the engine bay again
for another 10 years so gave a good cleaning inside there.

Much easier to replace the fuel filter while the engine is out.
Brown coloured fuel came out from the existing filter but not too bad compared to
the worst one I saw in the past.
That one showed black fuel due to its super low annual mileage and even it had
full service history, it was not replaced at the right timing.

New exh gasket at the rear bank.
As I had to remove the front CAT completely off the car, I will be using
three of them for this NSX.
I’ll deal with the front side later as I need to remove the front header
any way for the oil pan replacement.

The Eng and Gbox side mounts and the sub frame bolts installed.
Will tighten the four mounts in the specific sequence later.

In the process of cleaning the mating surface of the oil pan gasket
as well as the baffle plate.
I’m going to leave it like this for a while as I need to create oil free surface
before applying the liquid gasket.
Unlike working on the engine stand, the oil just keeps dripping from the
upper side......

There was tiny trace of eng oil at the back of the flywheel possibly from
the crank end seal at the triangle cover at the side of the engine.
Quite common seepage and regardless of the MT or AT models,
I normally replace the end seal whenever I have a chance accessing it
after removing the gbox and the flywheel.

Later, I’ll be working on both drive shafts and already not looking forward
dealing with this bolt at the toe control arm.

Same thing for the bolt at the wheel speed sensor bracket.
Almost 100% guaranteed to sear off.....
