The air cleaner element was placed on top of the bright LED light and
although it managed to pass through some lights as in the photo,
it’s too dirty to be re-used so will replace it this time.

Compression check.
Full data has been sent to the owner through email.

[psi]
#1: **5, #2: **1, #3: **0,
#4: **0, #5: **0, #6: **5

Although there were 10psi difference between the lowest and the highest figures
(which is well within the spec and quite normal before taking the Eng Refresh),
the rest of the cyl were very close each others so quite impressed.

Will see how it changes after carefully adjusting and checking the valve clearance
three times during my service.

Time to remove lots of parts in preparation for taking the engine out of the bay.

Probably the same on your NSX.
The spare tyre was already well past its ‘use by date’ and showing dangerous crack
all around the side shoulder.

I won’t use this even for a short distance.....

As same for every NSX, once it arrives at my place, the battery will be kept
on the conditioner throughout the service period in order to keep it healthy.

Having said this, I don't know how old this battery is......
It managed to get to the stable charge state very quickly after the compression check
so still healthy from the battery internal parts point of view.....

Fuel line, eng/cabin loom, etc disconnected and coolant drained.
Upper side of the engine is pretty much ready for the engine removal.
Just need to disconnect three coolant hoses under the header tank.

Moving onto the lower side of the engine.
Should be ready to start washing the engine very soon.
More to follow later.
