Wrapped the car in preparation for taking the engine out of the bay.

The front bank IG coils. Not too bad at all.

Checked the terminal spring condition on all six coils.

The ones at the rear bank.
There was no misfire during the test driving session but the IG coil at #1 cyl
was showing heavy rust and lifting the metal layers.
Please replace this at some point in the future.

Although the spark plugs looked fairly new, the one at #5 cyl showed
big difference in corona arching marking.
It looked more like moisture related than others.
Also the HEX metal body of #5 cyl plug was covered in lots of oil so
the plug hole seal was already dead.

The plug at #3 cyl was very loose.

The terminals looked nicely burnt with light brown colour and no carbon deposit.
Idle rpm was very steady and engine felt nice so fuel mixture looked to be healthy.

Having said this, the O2 sensors were the original ones from the factory and
considering the mileage, we are going to replace both sensors this time.

Time for the compression check before opening the engine followed by
removing lots of parts in preparation for taking the engine out.

More to follow later.
