Night and day difference at the TH body and the intake chamber.
So much clean now.
Back on the car, vacuum leak check carried out and happy with the result.
As expected, the A/C belt was simply overstretched.
It was simply re-used for many years when it should have been replaced
long time ago.
The part no was still showing as A02 that was changed to A04 ages ago
and even A05 recently.
The ACG belt was in the same overstretched status but unfortunately,
I don’t have any stock for the AT version so please replace it at the
next opportunity.
Big difference in the adjuster position after replacing the A/C belt.
So much better when the adjuster is not maxed out.
Will adjust the tension again after the test driving session.
Time to fireup, adjust the idle rpm and focus on the brake, ABS next week.
More to follow later.
