Finally, all of the cam holders were cleaned to this level with
remaining of old liquid gasket removed thoroughly.

I should have taken the back side of the holder pipe/plate because
that was the area where the most significant contamination was observed.
It was simply covered in dark brown sticky oil but any way,
it’s now shiny silver like the top side.

As my standard procedure, double checked the head bolt torque and
12 x new 305spec LMA installed with fresh oil.

Cleaned and checked the rocker shaft orifice and installed with new o-ring.

Rocker arms back in place.

As reported earlier, I noticed some friction when removing the rocker shaft
before cleaning them and since everything was disassembled,
checked one more time that all of the primary and secondary rocker arms won’t move
at all when the mid one was pressed.

Didn’t bother taking new video showing how the mid arm responds to
the new LMA because it was such a huge difference that can be seen in the
video files of my old blog.
The spring force was just so much higher meaning that the old LMA was
just so tired and sticky.

Inspected the camshaft surface and although there were some markings,
nothing serious so about to install the camshaft.

The mating surface of the cam holder where the liquid gasket is going to be
applied has to be conditioned and cleaned to this level.
Otherwise, you will see oil seepage very soon.

New o-ring under #1 cam holder.

Once again, dealing with the liquid gasket so no time for taking photos and
just end result.
All four camshafts back in place.

Just love the clean shiny colour.

I was about to install the TB back plates and realised that the back side was so dirty.

Once again, time for another cleaning session.

I don’t know how many hours I’m spending just for cleaning the parts but
already looking forward to seeing the result of cleaning the engine inside out.

Hope to put the engine back in place soon as I’m already about 4 weeks
behind the schedule.

Also, have to deal with missing Koyo radiator for another owner.
It should be in UK by now but for some reason, it managed to find
its way to Japan!! How???

I’m more worried about how someone managed to find my address in Japan
when the delivery address was for UK.....

More to follow later.
