Despite the poor status of cooling system,
the mechanical engine parts were in very clean condition.

All LMA felt soft but they will be replaced any way.

Slight heavy marking on #3 intake side cam lobe but nothing major.
Looked to be something (black liquid gasket??) was trapped
in the past as well.





Both F & R VTEC spool valves and Oil press sender unit removed.



I was about to take the rocker shaft out but after looking at the
state of cooling hose pipe on the engine, I felt it would be best to
check the pipes at the centre floor as well as the front compartment
under the bonnet so stopped here.
