Now the Left side.
The outboard joint was slashing the grease everywhere over the years and it managed to create wall of grease in many areas….
I think I’ll be spending extra hours cleaning them…
The trigger teeth had lots of debris but it was actually the grease from its own joint.
As a quick check, just scraped off part of the teeth and the nice shiny metal showed up.
Fortunately or unfortunately, the grease leakage protected the trigger teeth and Left side was in much better condition than the Right one.
However, my biggest concern is the amount of grease already leaked outside.
After removing the Left drive shaft from the car, I could feel the tiny click even by twisting it with my hand ...
I just hope there is no major damage inside….
There are many NSX with damages to the Rollers and Joint housing without being noticed.….
You will only see them once the drive shaft gave up and started throwing out some greasy parts on the road…
RL wheel speed sensor was slightly pushed back but seemed to be fine at the moment.
