  1. Brake OH 11

    Managed to find some time to work on the NSX today.


    As mentioned a while ago, instead of cleaning and overhauling the heavily leaked/corroded master cyl, decided to replace it with new one including the reservoir, filter, cap and the fluid level sensor.

    Rear Calliper installed.


    New Goodridge line installed and the line locator will be secured once the drive shaft overhaul has finished.


    So, all four callipers and brackets are now back in place and moving on to the master cyl and ABS service.

    As it involves the automatic adjuster for the parking brake mechanism, bit more parts required than the Front side.

    You must avoid twisting the brake line so always connect it at the calliper side first and then put some alignment marking to assist the connection at the brake pipe side.

    Most of the parts for the Front calliper overhaul process.


    Depending on what greases being used, how and where they are applied, it will make quite big difference over the time in preventing the corrosion to the parts.
