Finally, all the parts have arrived so I can now focus working on this NSX.

Just following up the brake service.

As we didn't replace the master cyl on this NSX, probably not required but as it's my standard procedure,
pressure bled the system in two rounds.
In between, left the system under pressure for about 1Hr to check for any leakages.

If you are not using the pressure bleeder and instead, using the old text book method of applying pressure through the brake pedal,
please make sure not to floor the pedal if you are re-using your existing master cyl.
You could damage the piston seals inside the master cyl due to step worn on the cyl wall.
With new master cyl, you don't need to worry about this.

Also, if you are re-using the master cyl, make sure not to empty the reservoir while the calipers are off the car.
Otherwise, you are really going to struggle bleeding the system without bench bleeding the master cyl off the car first.

While keeping the brake system under pressure, started removing the parts under the centre console.

For some reason, there was no fixing screws at the upper side of the audio head unit.
Audio head unit case is acting as the chassis GND and completes the shield so it's important to have good GND connection.
The two fixing bolts at the bottom side are acting as the connection to the chassis GND so not a big issue but still, doesn't look nice and may cause rattling.

Will remove the head unit to investigate what has been done behind there.

The centre vent deflector was not installed properly and just sitting there.... Probably the same on your NSX......

As reported earlier, the ashtray lid (original one at the top) was stained in the past and the owner got the replacement lid (the bottom one).

While the colour code YR247L Bright Brown is the same as the centre console, the amount of metal flake inside the plating/painting and
the brightness of the colour was not matched.

The new lid looked bit brighter and plain without any metal flakes. The back of the lid was not evan plated and just the shiny finish.

Not sure it is related but more and more, I started to see poor quality of the replacement parts.
Especially, the accuracy of the parts inside the MT box are getting worce and worce. Some of them had to be returned or even
modified before they can be installed.

Not easy to see in the above photo but will install the new one and see how it looks under the light later.

It was not in the service menu but since it's out of the car, there is no point in not cleaning this aspirator fan of the a/c cabin temperature sensor so will clean it later.
