Today at Atelier Kaz - ex-Honda R&D, F1, Indy/CART engineer

Didn't like the metal temperature so decided to work on the audio head unit instead.

Had to remove all of the new caps around the OP AMP in order to get extra space.

And it was very good idea to replace the OP AMP. Although it looked fine,
the area hidden by the device was contaminated by the acid and already dissolving the pads and tracks.
Had to carry out some repair work.








New OP AMP installed.
I better order it again from US as this is the last one I had in stock…..










Another set of new caps installed.
Must replace other caps around the head unit and strengthen the CD changer ACC port but once done, should last for many years again.




The display module needs some cleaning but hope I can finish the service very soon.



Now back to the engine service.
