Not much to report while re-assembling everything back in place as it’s just a
matter of lots and lots of wrenching.

New header tank, cap and fuel lines installed.

Vacuum leak check of the cooling system.

While checking the cooling system, carry on with the re-assembly process.

There was no grease left at the pocket of the CL release fork.
No wonder why it was making squeaking noise and felt heavy at the CL pedal.
Also, the fork popped in and out with almost no resistance so the spring retainer
is already worn out.
Next time when replacing the CL, please replace the surrounding parts as well.
High temp Urea grease applied for the re-installation.

Didn’t like the idea of re-using the damaged dust boot that was cut through
by someone.

As I had new one in stock, decided to replace it.
New dust boot installed at the CL release cyl.

Time consuming but had to be done.
Rethreading the fixing hole for the U-shaped support beam.
One of the six bolt hole (the right forward one) was beyond the repair and
I couldn’t achieve the targeted torque.
It requires the use of Helicoil but I don’t stock this small type.
However, due to the design and so close to other three bolts and nuts at higher torque,
it can be done later without causing any issues.

The shift cable, CAT bolts, etc and pretty much everything are back in place.
Note the missing blue check mark at the right forward bolt of the U-shaped support beam.
This is the one that I couldn’t achieve the targeted torque.

Time to tighten the four Eng/GBox mounts and the rear sub frame in the
specified sequence.
Very important to follow this sequence otherwise, it could generate loud
noise and vibration resulting in shorter mount parts life.
The very last one to be tightened is the Rear mount.

Happy with the vacuum leak check of the cooling system so will fill the coolant tomorrow and fire up the engine in preparation for the compression check.

More to follow.
