As reported earlier, very strange way of applying the liquid gasket over the gasket.

Probably it was accidentally came on here while rotating the rear valve cover during installation???

Very good example of showing what happens if you park the car for a long time.

The condensation inside the engine plus the blowby gas residue.

The milky/brown bits is the moisture.

You can even see it on the holder plate as well as on the bolt head.

This is still the early stage as no rust formed (yet).

If parked much longer, any sharp edge will start rusting and eventually gets at the upper section of the journal, metal, etc.

Imagine what will happen at the cam lobe, the crank/rod metal section next time you start the engine......

After parked for a long time, every time when you start the engine, it will leave scuff markings.

It won't cause immediate failure but damages will be accumulated.

It could be fine for a month, several months, a few years or may be even for many years but the damages are done.

Then, one day, you will experience the sudden engine failure.

You will notice scuff marking on the intake side of the rocker arm surface as well due to the oil passage design involving the VTEC.

Please drive regularly and don't keep idling until fully warmed up unless you live in sub zero climate.

Very wet front mid cover gasket but once again, it proves how well the TB is being protected on our NSX.

Probably one of the best protection among the Japanese car models from the same era as long as it was installed properly.

Someone struggled to install the rear mid cover and dislocated the gasket.

It was being hit by the TB and left so much flake like debris inside the mid cover as well as around the TB cover plate.

Later, after removing and inspecting the TB, there were trace of marking all the way around.
