    The black oil contaminated the VTEC Spool valves as well.
    Took some time cleaning the inside but now they are both back in place
    with new filters and bolts.

    Once the Eng is out, first thing is to check the state of the engine.





    Further investigation revealed that the oil leakage was even more severe
    than originally thought.
    With the state of nearby coolant hoses, etc, already agreed with the
    owner to replace all of the nearby coolant hoses, cramps, etc.

    Forgot to mention this in the previous post.

    Despite having the later spec LMA, to my finger, the one at
    the Inlet side of the #4 cyl felt tiny bit weaker than others.
    It is possible that it's just my imagination as I didn't measure
    the spring rate and just felt with my finger.
    Nothing to concern and won't cause noise issue probably even
    after the next TB service.
