  1. Blower motor fan

    As I’ll be cleaning the A/C evaporator later, decided to remove the blower motor fan at this stage to get extra room for other services.

    Once again, the lower bolts were completely corroded and the bolt heads were nearly rounded even for the 6 point socket …


    Spent extra time but thanks to the bolt extractor, managed to remove them at the end.


    Will be replaced ...

    Looks like this crank pulley was never replaced.

    The metal weight was still not dislocated but the actual pulley body was very rusty and lots of debris were peeling off.

    The poor right drive shaft...


    Someone tried to fix the grease leakage without removing the seized joint from the hub.

    This boot band is not the one from the factory nor the one in the OEM service kit.


    Some sort of aftermarket one was used and probably installed it while the drive shaft was on the car.

    While waiting for the coolant to drain, started to remove several parts for TB service.

    However, the grease splashed from the outboard joint of right drive shaft was getting everywhere that I decided to remove it and clean the area first.


    Also, I don’t like to see my cloth and floor getting dirty.

    It’s one thing strictly controlled at the race team.

  5. No email access

    Yesterday (Thursday, 9th), between 5:00pm – 11:00pm, my email server (outside of UK) was going through the maintenance service and thus, it was not possible to send or receive any emails.



    And now I was told that I may experience some issues such as difficulty in accessing the email for a while.


    Therefore, if you sent any email during the above period yesterday and if you haven’t heard from me by the end of tomorrow (Saturday), ...
