Hope everyone is keeping warm….

For some reason, the packages for the ABS Upgrade pipes, etc were held for extra days.

Not sure why but they should be here tomorrow and I can start installing the brake pipes.

The owner bought the NSXCB spec Goodridge custom made brake line long time ago and brought it this time.

As I can't install it at the front until the ABS upgrade brake pipe arrives, just installed the rear set first.

As always, pay extra attention not to twist the line when applying torque at the fitting.

Forgot to take the photo but re-installed the rubber protector block inside the opening of the upright to protect the brake line.

Replaced the fuel filter.

There were some debris trapped inside the existing one but nothing like some of the NSX that I serviced before.

Looked like it was replaced at proper interval regardless of the mileage covered.

However, one serious concern was found at the fuel pipe.

Normally, I see this kind of damages when the pipe angle was shifted while replacing the fuel filter or working in the nearby area but
all of them were caused by scratching against the filter bracket or by the edge of hose band next to it.

If I check 10 NSX, most likely 8 of them will show more or less bent fuel pipe.

But the position of this damage is at completely at different location.

The only thing I can think of is that this NSX had its a/c belt idle pulley replaced and very likely that someone used very long tool and pressed against the fuel pipe.

I took this photo before attaching the pipe to the fuel filter so not at the exact position but you can see the trace of force pressing from above and not from sideway.

The owner managed to get to my place without any fuel leakage and since then, I started the engine many times without noticing any smell of fuel.

After replacing the filter, pressurised the system with the regulator enabled/disabled many times and no leakage so for now, it's fine but please replace the fuel pipe in the future.

The other end can be accessed from the cabin but never tried removing the pipe with the tank/engine in place though.

No grease splashed on the eng block but tiny amount observed on the inboard joint heatshield so looked like the leakage just started.
