The VTEC spool valve installed with 2 new gaskets and 6 new bolts at each bank.
Later spec smaller diameter solenoid model so P08 version used.




Oil pressure sender unit with new o-ring installed.
Normally, I thought that the o-ring will stick out further from the recess where
it sits but on this unit, it only showed minimum thickness just enough to seal
the port so I do hope I won’t see any oil leakage in the future.




The weather was much better today and mild so time to carry out the
delicate valve clearance adjustment.






After long hours, 24 adjusters were triple checked for their clearance
as well as for the torque.



Normally, after this point, things will dramatically speed up as it’s just the matter of
putting everything back in place in preparation for the Eng installation but
on this engine, I must first service the intake manifold so bit more time required.
