    A while ago, another owner contacted me after triggering the EPS warning light.

    He contacted me previously but at that time, he managed to fix it by using another EPS controller or replacing the internal relays by someone.

    Unfortunately, the issue came back and despite trying his own refurbished spare unit, the warning light was still there so call for the help.

    The relay contacts were severely burnt and I had a feeling that this won't be the only issue.

    The commutator on the EPS rack could be covered in black fretting and causing extra resistance or quite often, the rack boot got split allowing moisture to enter resulting in severe rust.

    This is from last month but been super busy since before Christmas so updating the blog just now…..

    No Christmas party or New Year celebration so just kept working throughout the holiday season….

    Another owner contacted me for the EPS Controller service and received the unit from one of the Honda dealer.

    It was very cold recently that I was not happy with the metal temperature despite the usage of the oil heater that
    decided not to carry out the valve clearance adjustment until this weekend.

    In the meantime, decided to finish other items.
