    Using my NSX to test the CCU board.
    Mine is JDM so the detail looks different but CCU functionality is the same.
    This photo shows that it is in the process of carrying out the Function and Operation checks.
    The temperature display will show specific mode during the process.

    The leakage from the capacitors on this board was not too bad compared to other boards that I worked in the past.

    However, there were lots and lots of damages caused by the previous service work carried out by someone else and spent hours just to repair all of them.

    Started removing the capacitors.

    Straight away, noticed that previous person worked on the board didn’t control the soldering station temperature. Excessive heat was applied to almost all of the pads for the capacitors and because of this, they were already peeled off or damaged. Have to spend some time to repair all of them.

    While trying to figure out on how to work on my NSX efficiently, another owner sent in his CCU board through the post.

    The owner described the issue as 'the CCU board with its own mind'. Sometimes it works, other times, it doesn’t. Also, the fan speed control only operated at the max setting.
