Drive Shaft 01

Just a quick update.

Started the drive shaft service.
As I didn’t want to wait until the paint to become dry, decided to use my
precious rebuilt joint that were already painted long time ago.

Before doing so, disassembled the existing drive shaft and confirmed that
it can be re-used for the future service.
You don’t want to swap your precious parts only to find that the other
parts were already broken.

The standard procedure for me…..
Just clean and plant 10’s of pin bearings just for the one roller.

The rollers and the joint housing have to stay as a set and always place the
roller at the original position in original direction.

Cleaned the joint to this level and….

.... the drive shaft is ready.

The wheel speed sensor head showed slight sign of scratch/damage/corrosion but
so far, looked to be healthy.

The drive shaft is now installed and will torque the suspension related bolts under 1G later.
