  1. Fuel Lid

    The owner reported that from time to time,
    he couldn’t open the lid.

    Adjusting the lid alignment is always tricky as the clearance is very narrow
    and while the lid, tip of the opener cable and nearby parts are plastic,
    the wing is aluminium so not sure how the temperature affects the gap
    considering the design of the lid area.

    Normally, I have to remove the wheel arch liner to rotate the opener cable tip

  2. A/C Evaporator

    Started to wash the A/C Evaporator.




    When I removed the blower motor unit, it didn’t look too bad
    but from the amount of debris trapped at the windscreen,
    engine bay, boot lid, etc, I knew it would be very dirty.

  3. Brake Master Cyl, Goodridge Brake Line

    This time, we are going to replace the master cyl and the brake lines.

    Considering the unknown state of the master cyl, decided to replace it rather than
    overhauling it.

    Thank you to continuous support from Goodridge for the custom made brake lines
    using the NSXCB special parts no..

  4. Drive Shaft 04

    Lowered the chassis to the ground and torqued the spindle nut to the spec.
    Then, using the drive shaft chisel, staked the spindle nut to lock it.


    Suspension area bolts and nuts torqued under 1G in preparation to visit the alignment platform next week.

    Drive shaft service done and moving onto the brake area.

  5. Drive Shaft 03

    In case someone worked on the drive shaft in the past,
    double check the tripod offset between the inboard and outboard joints.
    There should be 60deg offset as you can see above.
