Eng Refresh + LMA, etc 02

This is going to take some time washing and detailing the engine during the Eng Refresh process….
I think this NSX was kept in the storage for a long time…..

The owner told me that he couldn't get any hot air through the heater.

On the day when the owner visited me, the fan was working so I thought it was air trapped in the heater core.
Later, when I carried out the A/C CCU Diag test and Function & Operation check, not only the fan control but also
the motor control (Vent, Mode, Mix, Fresh/recirc) were not stable or not working at all.

Basically, the air mix motor was stuck at the cold position and didn't move at all towards the hot side and
that's why the owner didn't get any hot air from the vent.

Addition to this, the A/C refrigerant was empty (completely empty) but not much point in re-charging it
when the CCU is not operating properly.
So, we are going to fix the CCU first.

I think I'm going to have big challenge with this CCU board......

Full of dust at the CCU cabin temperature sensor.
Probably I'll disassemble and clean it while the centre console is off for CCU service.

Not sure what someone was thinking but very lucky that the owner didn't experience puncture at the radiator.
Someone decided to thread-in a bolt into the radiator holder.
It's part of the upper plastic tank of the radiator and if the bonnet hit it, it could crack the tank or pierced it…..

The bolt is very likely to be the one for the spare tyre bracket.

Typical appearance when using aftermarket speedo overlay.

The backlight doesn’t evenly spread/distribute and makes like 'spot light' effect.
If you disassemble the OEM one and look at the back of the display,
you will notice how much effort went into the design to achieve evenly distributed light.
Not much I can do so going to leave it.

Early design front door sash so can't just replace the tired door upper weatherstrip.
Already took set and some wind noise due to several small cut around the weatherstrip.
Has to live with it for now.
