Probably not easy to see in this photo but the flange is deformed…..

I just hope using the later spec rubber gasket and the liquid gasket will stop the oil seepage.














Hello flywheel….























Due to so much oil contamination, corrosion and even the oxidation at the bolt/nut thread, I had to replace all of them with new ones as torque control is very important.

Used liquid gasket at both side of the rubber gasket and carefully adjusted the torque at each section of the metal gasket to spread the force evenly.

Left it 24Hrs before putting the eng oil.
















Now I can put the front header back in place.

New NA2 gasket and nut installed.


















One of the A/C compressor bolt was heavily oxidised and corroded. Had to re-thread it as it was making squeak on first installation.

Had to re-route the front O2 sensor loom considering the heat from the header and the debris from the road using the high temperature spec tyrap .
