As I need to be in another meeting this afternoon, decided to work on the CCU for a while.


Although there were lots of capacitor leakages, considering the actual age of the board, the damage level was better than other boards that I serviced in the past.








Some of the leaked capacitors removed, cleaned and then any circuit track/pad that were damaged by the acid were strengthened by the hard wire bridge, jumper wire, etc.


Replacing the capacitors are only a small portion of the service and most of the time were spent on finding the damaged circuit track/pad and repairing them.


Had to stop here for the day as I must go.
