Surprised with the amount of carbon despite being told that the TH body was washed in the past and even screw adjusted.....

I think I found the main cause of the dry coolant marking along the front cyl head and then down to the block area.

Initially, I thought it was mainly caused by the leakage at the Temp sender unit below the TH body.

Now that the big coolant hoses are out of the way, I managed to put the scope closer and found that it was mainly leaking from the water passage where it meets the front cyl head.

I have already replaced all of the coolant hoses and even carried out the vacuum leak check for 90min and happy to report that at this stage, no leakage.
















The reason why I was afraid of test driving this NSX.

You can't squash this thick hose if the fibre layer was healthy.

It was already broken down in many places and this area was the worst that it already expanded and about to blew.
