Time to apply conformal coating on the two CCU boards as well as the Main Relay that I re-soldered after replacing it with the new one.

This one is going to be returned to the owner so that he can keep it in his glove box as an emergency spare.

All of them masked and ready to be sprayed.

Now I just need to find some time to test these two boards using my NSX with test driving ...
  2. Air Con CCU Board Service B-01

Recently, another owner sent in his CCU board to my place.

It was intermittent but most of the time, nothing showed up on the display and thus, nothing worked.

This board was the original spec so even if the NSX was kept in really nice condition, there is no chance in preventing the CCU issue to happen.

  3. Air Con CCU Board Service A-01

Unless I can block several hours without being interrupted, I won't start the Valve Clearance adjustment service.

As I couldn’t see it was possible to do so for the day, decided to work on the A/C Climate Control Unit (CCU).

Another owner sent in his CCU board as well so it makes sense to work on them in parallel from efficiency point of view.

This NSX that I'm working on at the moment is fairly new and ...

It was nice meeting some of you today at Japfest.

As I had several higher priority projects, I was not sure whether I can attend the event or not until the very last moment so only managed to wash the car and treat the seat leather the day before the event.

It seems that Liquid Leather is one of the most preferred products to treat the leather but I have never used it.

There are several feedbacks on this ...

  5. Battery

As the owner was experiencing the issue with the excessive current drain while the car was parked, the existing battery went down to completely flat several times and thus, we decided to replace it to be on the safe side.

As the owner doesn’t track his NSX and also only drives it occasionally, not much point in using the racing lightweight battery.
