  1. Health Check + Annual Service 01

    So, started the service with the Health Check.





    It’s not leaking but there was a tiny marking on the ABS high pressure hose.
    It looks as if it's leaking but it's because I wiped the area with my glove.

    It was just on the outer sleeve and internal hose was fine but
    probably best to replace it next

  2. MX-5 Engine Refresh

    My Eunos Roadster (JDM, Mk-1, 1993 1.8L V Special II) just started to
    make noise from the water pump bearing and
    it covered just below 60K miles so time for the Engine Refresh.


    All of the coolant hoses, header tank, hose band, etc were replaced
    in the past and the coolant was replaced regularly.
    And yet the water pump started to make noise even under 60K miles so
    as always, best to replace the WP at every TB service on

  3. Preparation 01

    Started to work on another NSX from today.

    The owner has been using my service for many years so
    it’s always nice to see the same NSX coming back to my place.

    It will allow me to customise the annual service menu because
    I don’t see the point in using the standard menu considering
    the different driving style, age of the car, low annual mileage,
    purpose, etc compared to the ordinary cars.

  4. Final Touch

    As all of the tyres are replaced with the Neova AD-08 and
    I felt the steering was not pointing straight during the Health Check,
    recommended the owner to take the alignment service in the near future.
