    As same as the cyl head, checked the deck (eng block) with straight edge.
    As it has higher tolerance and because of its size/shape, very unlikely to show
    issues but needs to be checked.

    Possibly the block was not washed thoroughly back at the factory as
    I found tiny white sand like objects in one of the head bolt thread.




    If I have the industrial clean air room, I would love to remove the piston,

    Front head removed and even before lifting it, I knew something was not right
    as there were several noticeable markings on the head bolts.

    While it will survive and fairly normal to see the potting melted away
    on the CRK/CYL sensor, I don't feel comfortable re-using this so going
    to replace it with a new one.

    Have been working on another NSX for several days now so
    catching up on updating the blog.

    The service menu is the Eng Refresh + LMA and based on the previous
    investigation on this engine, it requires the head gasket job as well.
    Ideally, I wanted to combine as many services as possible while the
    engine is out of the bay but it is important to discuss the priorities with
    the owner as well.
