By the way, on this NSX, the Bose speaker packages were from all sorts of different year.

At the right door, the speaker itself was from very early model but someone opened the speaker box and written some wording in 2012.
The manufactured date on the AMP is well after the final production year of our NSX but the year info on the speaker box was bit earlier so
looks like the speaker, AMP and box are all from different origin.

As seen on many NSX, the weatherproof sheet behind the door card was in poor condition and the speaker box screw tabs were already gone....








Was worried about the audio head unit wiring as well.
I saw the same modifications in the past but for the FL channel, the original paired wires were cut off and instead, shield twisted pair wires were installed
but the terminal crimping was very poor.....










Refurbished with new caps, hot melting glue, conformal coating and thermal compound applied before installation.













The entire left door speaker unit looked to be replaced by someone in the past.
Even the speaker cone looked like new so must be the one that you can buy from Bose USA.
The one from the Honda factory has different label attached.
