  1. Air Con CCU Board Service 02

    After testing the damaged circuit, listed up the sections that required extra parts to be used to re-create the dissolved track and pads.


    Two jumper wires, two hard wires and four soldering bridges were decided to be used for the repair.

  2. Air Con CCU Board Service 01

    Started to work on another CCU board. The owner also sent in the three Bose speaker AMPs as well so will be working on them later. This is another very good example on the importance of preventative measure. The owner was not feeling any issues at all with his A/C but decided to send the CCU board to my place.Very good decision....Click image for larger version.

  3. Test driving, Health Check, Annual service

    Carried out the test driving session to complete the TB/WP service as well as for the Health Check and ** months Annual services.



    While the engine was completely warmed up, reset the ECU again and let the engine to learn the study value by running the engine with no load for 15 – 20min.


    The longer term co-efficient value requires longer driving session with multiple driving conditions so I’ll appreciate if the owner can drive the car ...

    Time to vacuum fill the coolant.


    Another leak check as I removed the header tank after carrying out the last check.


    Honda Type 2 coolant in the system now.


    Connected the battery and warmed up the engine.


    Quick adjustment on the ACG and A/C belts as they expanded a bit.


    Again, they need to be re-adjusted in the future.

    Both Front and Rear rocker/valve covers installed with liquid gasket applied at the No.1 and No.4 cam holder plate corner edges.
